This South Shore poster is part of a series celebrating the rebirth of South Bend, Indiana. South Bend, like many other cities in the Midwest, has had to go through some economic transitions being part of the rustbelt. Refocusing and reusing its existing infrastructure South Bend has been able to pivot and flourish once again. This print commemorates repurposing the old Hotel LaSalle as artist apartments as well as the South Shore line that once ran through this area. Combining the new and the old, this piece celebrates what made South Bend great in the past and in the present.
